Once a major trading port, HoiAn boasts the grand architecture and beguiling riverside setting that befits its heritage. HoiAn translates to “peaceful meeting place”.

It is such a beautiful town, UNESCO has given the whole town “World Heritage” status.

Today, HoiAn is a cosmopolitan melting pot, a culinary mecca with many local food specialities that can only be found in HoiAn.  It is one of Vietnam’s most important tourism centres.

HoiAn is easy to navigate on foot or bicycle and the old town closes to motor vehicles during the day so you can safely walk around and enjoy our many shops.

HoiAn is Vietnam’s most atmospheric and delightful town.  It is colorful and serene, but it comes alive at night.  The color of our lanterns set against the river backdrop is simply delightful. Once you’ve visited Ho Chi Minh City or HaNoi, spend some time relaxing in HoiAn where the pace is less frantic and the people are friendly.

Whilst in HoiAn, you can visit old merchant houses, Chinese temples, Pagodas, Museums, ancient tea warehouses, market gardens, and the beach is close by as well.  There is plenty to do in HoiAn.   Motor bike tours, day tours to Hue and MySon or boat trips to Cham Island are all available and all within easy reach.   We are happy to help you plan your travel itinerary.
